Pre & Post Pregnancy Balance Sessions

A woman’s body goes through many changes during the 40 weeks of pregnancy both physically and emotionally. Taking a little time out for yourself whilst pregnant not only can be spiritually uplifting, it can be greatly beneficial in relieving the discomfort our precious little ones can cause.

The process of growing a baby in our bodies is an amazing thing, but it can be stressfulCRO_Health_Outside_Pregnant_Woman_05-15 physically, mentally and emotionally for the expectant mother.

Our Kinesiologist and massage therapist, Julie,  offers a 1 ½ hour Balance session to help your body to adapt to the changes that occur during pregnancy and to assist your body in it’s recovery from the pregnancy and birth.

Some discomforts a mother may experience are: backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches, lack of sleep and edema (or swelling).

In addition, Pregnancy Massage may help to reduce stress on weight-bearing joints, encourage blood and lymph circulation, help to relax nervous tension -which may aid in better sleep- and assist to lessen depression or anxiety caused by hormonal changes.

Some common issues related to birth and pregnancy can lead to problems like bladder issues, circulation, back pain, hormonal imbalances and stress just to name a few.

Each treatment is individually tailored to the person and involves Kinesiology techniques coupled with a soothing massage.

1 ½ hour Pre and Post Pregnancy Balance Sessions with Julie are $140.
